Community rules
Last updated October 18, 2026. Registration is for people aged 18 or older.
- Treat other people respectfully. Disagree with ideas without personal attacks, harassment, hate or threats.
- Do not publish someone else’s private information or private conversations without permission. Report safety and moderation concerns privately to staff.
- No spam, scams, malware, unlawful material or attempts to evade bans or other moderation decisions.
- Only post or upload material you have permission to share. Credit sources and respect copyright.
- Keep discussions relevant and use clear titles. Describe links so readers know what they are opening.
- Keep your password, authenticator setup keys and recovery codes private. You are responsible for the activity you authorize on your account.
Staff may edit, move or remove content and restrict accounts to enforce these rules and protect the community. Use the report control to flag a problem; contact staff privately if you want a decision reviewed.
You retain ownership of your contributions. By posting, you permit the forum to store, display, format and moderate that material as needed to operate the community. Public contributions can be copied, quoted or indexed by others; removing an account does not automatically remove every contribution or quotation.
Members express their own opinions. Paranormal discussions and other member content are not professional medical, legal or financial advice.

Information used to run the forum
We store account details such as username, email address, registration date, account status, preferences and profile information you supply; your posts, uploads, reactions and private conversations; and records needed for sign-in, moderation, security and delivery of notifications. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Enabled two-step verification requires additional security data.
Requests can produce technical records such as IP addresses, browser information, timestamps and requested pages. Registration screening can use IP and account history to identify spam or abuse. When StopForumSpam screening is enabled, a hash of the registration email and the registration IP address are sent to that service for screening. A match can lead to staff review.
Who can see information
Public posts, usernames, avatars, reactions and public attachments may be visible to visitors and search engines. The member directory and member profile pages require sign-in; account privacy settings also affect visibility. Private conversations are limited through participant permissions, but are not end-to-end encrypted. Authorized operators may access stored data where needed for support, moderation, security and operation.
Cookies and your browser
Sign-in cookies maintain sessions. Optional trusted-device cookies support two-step verification. Registration screening can use a signed account-history cookie. Browser storage supports display preferences, editor recovery and other interactive features. See Cookie usage for details.
Your browser or operating system may provide a separate spelling service under its own settings and policies.
External services and content
Email and push delivery use the configured delivery services when those features are used. Links and embedded media can connect your browser to third-party providers, exposing information such as your IP address and browser details under their own policies.
Retention and your choices
Information is retained as needed to operate accounts and discussions, handle moderation and security, and meet applicable obligations. Backups can retain earlier copies until their normal rotation. Deactivation is not deletion. Public quotations or copies made by others may remain.
You can review account, notification and privacy settings while signed in. Contact staff to request help accessing, correcting or deleting account information. Some records or contributions may need to be retained; staff will explain what can be done.
Contact
Members can send Bob a private conversation about account or privacy requests. A public contact email address has not yet been configured. If you can sign in, use the private conversation link; never post your password or security codes publicly.
